The UK line-up

Model 3 — eligible. A new Model 3 ordered through a referral link attaches approximately 650 miles of free Supercharging.

Model Y — eligible. The same benefit applies, including to newly introduced body variants of the Model Y family. Family-level eligibility is not proof for a brand-new variant; the order summary is.

Model S — not eligible. Removed from the referral programme in March 2026.

Model X — not eligible. Removed in the same change.

Cybertruck — not orderable in the UK. The vehicle is not sold here, so its referral status is academic for a UK buyer. Where it is sold, eligibility is trim-specific: Premium AWD and Cyberbeast qualify and Dual Motor AWD does not.

Why the Cybertruck detail is worth recording anyway

Because it establishes that Tesla will exclude an individual trim inside an otherwise eligible family. That is the reason a new Model Y variant cannot be assumed eligible on family grounds alone, and it is the reason this reference points at the order screen rather than at its own table.

The failure mode this creates

A valid referral link applied to an ineligible car. The link works, the order completes, and no benefit is granted to either party — and nothing in the ordering flow warns that this has happened. Where a UK buyer meets this most often

Two situations. First, a buyer cross-shopping a Model X for a third row: that configuration carries no referral benefit at any price, while a six-seat Model Y variant sits inside an eligible family. Second, a buyer reading a page written before March 2026, of which there are many — Model S and Model X appear as eligible on a large amount of still-published UK content.

Second-hand and inventory cars

Eligibility is only half the question; the purchase route is the other half. An inventory car is a new order placed from a listing, so the mechanism applies as normal, with a higher risk of the link being lost because the flow is faster.
