Tesla Rebuilt Its UK Order Pages on 7 August 2026

This is a reference site, so the most useful thing it can do is tell you when its own reference material has gone stale. On 7 August 2026 Tesla redesigned its order pages for the United Kingdom and further markets, two days after doing the same for Germany, France, Italy and Spain on 5 August.

That matters here more than it would on most sites, because the order page is not incidental to a referral code — it is the entire mechanism. A referral link has to be opened before you configure, and the benefit appears in the order summary before payment. Both of those are behaviours of the page Tesla has just rebuilt.

What is not on the record

Tesla published no changelog for either wave. So we can tell you the UK order flow was rebuilt and when; we cannot tell you from a Tesla source exactly which fields moved, or whether the referral field sits in the same step of the flow as it did in July. Anyone who tells you precisely what changed inside the page is describing their own observation, not a Tesla statement — which is fine, as long as it is labelled that way.

The honest instruction, therefore, is procedural rather than positional: follow the flow in front of you, not a screenshot. Open the referral link first, configure, and confirm the benefit is showing in the order summary before you pay. That sequence is what the programme requires, and it survives any redesign. A code cannot be added after the fact.

One thing found in the source code

The same rebuild put the string "Model Y L" into the JavaScript source of Tesla's European Model Y configurators. Order books for that car are expected in autumn 2026. There is no announced UK price and no announced UK date, and we are recording the string as a signal of preparation, not as availability.

What has not changed

The UK referral benefit itself. Model S and Model X remain outside the programme after the March 2026 removal, and the UK benefit continues to be paid in Supercharging miles rather than as a discount. A rebuilt page changes where you click. It does not change what you receive.
