Configurator pricing we've seen reported for the entry Model Y sat from around £41,990 as of February 2026. Tesla moves UK prices without a published schedule, so treat any figure — including that one — as a snapshot to re-check live on tesla.com/en_gb rather than a fixed number for the rest of the year.

What has not changed: the 650-mile referral benefit itself

Despite the S/X removal and any price moves, the core Model Y referral benefit has stayed the same all year: 650 free Supercharging miles on a new order, credited after delivery, identical across every trim. We haven't seen a genuine, sourced change to this figure in 2026 — if we do, this page's "updated" date will move and say so plainly.

What has not changed: no FSD trial, no trim exception

Some forum posts speculate that a particular Model Y trim (usually Performance) might unlock a UK Full Self-Driving trial the way US referrals do. We've found no evidence of this. What's genuinely uncertain

The referrer-side reward (Tesla Credits for the person sharing their code) is capped at 10 per calendar year, but the exact credit amount is reported inconsistently across sources, and we still won't quote a figure until it's confirmed directly on Tesla UK's Refer & Earn page. That's unchanged uncertainty, not a new development — we flag it here so it isn't mistaken for a 2026 change we've simply failed to report. Similarly, any legacy “£500 off” figure occasionally seen tied to older Model S/X terms should be treated as stale rather than applied to the Model Y — we've found no evidence such a cash-off figure ever applied to the Model Y specifically.

Context: a grant that changed too, just not for the car itself

One genuine 2026 date change worth knowing alongside the Model Y's own history: the EV Chargepoint (home-charger) grant rose from roughly £350 to £500 from 1 April 2026. It's not a Model Y-specific or referral-specific change — it applies to eligible renters and flat owners installing a charger for any EV — but Model Y buyers who also need a home charger installed will want the current, higher figure rather than the pre-April one.
